5 Hour/Half day trips

Our half day trips are popular with families who want to have an enjoyable morning or afternoon on the ocean. We generally spend our time trolling the inshore man-made reefs for Kingfish, Barracuda and Bonita. In the summer months we sometimes find dolphin (mahi-mahi not flipper) and sailfish depending on water clarity and conditions. In July 1999, a 12 year old boy caught a 76lb Wahoo on an afternoon half day trip. That is what we call a bonus fish for half a day.
8 Hour trips

The 8 hour trip is usually spent trolling man-made and natural reefs up to 24 miles offshore. Like our half day trips, we target Kingfish, Barracuda, and Bonita. The main difference between our half day and 8 hour trips is that we have more quality fishing time over the reefs. That equates to a better chance of catching you limit of fish and maybe that trophy for your wall. In the winter we also bottom fish for Grouper and Snapper around the limestone ledges and caves.
10 and 12 Hour trips

Our 10 and 12 hour trips are the most popular trips we run. During these long trips we have the time to fish the most productive warm water currents and eddies off the Daytona Beach Coast. We look constantly for tide rips, weed lines and temperature breaks. All this information is critical in finding the giants of the gulf stream. Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Dolphin, Tuna and giant Wahoo can be caught out in the deep. Some of our most productive days fishing have been in waters 120 feet to 300 feet deep. The spring through the fall are usually the best fishing months offshore. However, big fish can show up anytime you are trolling the deep blue waters of the gulf stream. Some of our hottest billfish days have been during the heat of the summer as well as the "cold" days of winter. Our charters have caught everything from a 56lb dolphin, 300lb Blue Marlin, multiple sail fish and Wahoo up to 91lbs. If bottom fishing is your preference, these are the best trips to take.
